Inishowen

Cover for Manus Noble’s composition ‘Inishowen’

I designed this cover for one of my brother’s classical guitar compositions – ‘Inishowen’. The piece is named after the northernmost peninsula in Ireland, and a place we spent a lot of time in as children. Went with an uncial typeface for the Gaelic spelling of the name for obvious reasons, taking care to manually remove the tittle from each ‘i’, as uncial script doesn’t actually have them! There is also a unfortunate typo in the image, no prizes if you can find it.

You can listen to my brother playing the piece here, and this is his shop where you can purchase all of his scores.
